Khalid Al-Jaber is a Qatari traveler, adventurer, and media professional, as well as the author of the English-language book My Road to Silk. He transformed his passion for motorcycles into transcontinental journeys, traveling the Silk Road from London to Beijing on a journey spanning more than 21,000 kilometers across 19 countries. He later completed the “Pole to Pole” journey along a continuous route from Alaska to the southernmost point of South America, covering more than 40,000 kilometers across 15 countries. He became the first Arab to complete the “Pole to Pole” journey by motorcycle. He documents his journeys through photography and film, drawing lessons from them about overcoming fear, discipline, resilience, and starting over.
